Self assessment asks an individual to rate themselves on specific behaviors that underlie critical competencies against a “best practices” benchmark. Their results point to areas in need of self-development and allows them to prioritize their development efforts. |

180° assessment involves both the individual and his or her manager rating the same behaviors from their unique perspectives. Benefits from this approach are to point to gaps in how each see the critical aspects of the job and point to gaps that exist between how the person being rated sees him or herself and how the manager views that person’s performance; a great communication springboard. |

360° assessment involves a wider look at the person’s performance by gathering confidential, anonymous perceptions from those who work closely with that person: their manager plus their peers and/or direct reports. Three data streams shown side-by-side clearly depict congruence and differences in performance that the person being rated considers and takes to heart in considering strengths and needed development. |
Overview of MEP and LEP:
These quick, efficient, and cost-effective tools can be used by organizations that wish to assess management (tactical) and/or leadership (strategic) competencies anytime, anywhere, with no customization, extra fees or consultants needed. The person being rated inputs the names and email addresses of the people rating him or her, and emails are automatically generated and sent out to the raters. Once the process is complete, both a short and long version of the feedback summary is available in PDF format in an attractive, multi-page, graphical and narrative report that ensures raters’ confidentiality and anonymity. Development suggestions, templates and interpretative text are provided within the report for no extra charge.
